Integration Object

To use data from outside the CALS application within CALS, we declare an Integration Object. Essentially, Business Object and Integration Object are similar concepts, with the only difference being the source location of the target.

How-To Create

  1. Select Integration > Integration Object in the Object Explorer.

  2. Click on New in the Integration Object List to open a popup to register a new Integration Object.

  3. In the Interface Field, select the previously defined Integration Definition, enter the search criteria (Search Spec), and then save.

  4. After saving the Integration Object, you can register fields at the bottom of the list, creating defined data integration items as fields.
