Excel Template

If your application includes a data upload feature using Excel, you can configure it by setting up an Excel Template. In the Excel Template, you define the template for the upload file. Once configured, you can use the template to input, modify, or delete data in the Excel file based on the data within it

• How to Create

1. Select the Utility > Excel Template menu in the Object Explorer.

2. Select New button in the Template File List to create a new Excel Template. There are two types of Excel Templates: Excel and CSV.

   

3. In the Template File Sheet List, you set the contents for the Sheet of the Excel File to be uploaded. You can define the sequence number and starting and ending rows for each Sheet.

4. Finally, in the Template File Cell List, you set the Field names and Data Specs for the Excel File.
