1.4.3. Control Parameter

Used for transferring data between controls within a component. It is used in the Load Service of a component to hide or set related controls to read-only based on the value or state of a specific control.

• How-To

1. Select Control Parameter in the Action Designer and place it on the Action Canvas.
2. Enter the Platform Type and Description in the default settings.
3. Click Next at the bottom to move to the Parameter input screen below the Action.
4. Select the Control under the Action Component Section among the Action Parameters (number of data items to be transferred).
5. Select the Data type to be transferred, i.e., Source Type and the Data type to be received, i.e., Target Type.
6. Since Data is transferred within the same Component, set the same Component for both Source Component and Target Component.
7. Depending on the Target Type and Source Type, select or enter the Value and Optional values. Note: Refer to Chapter 2.6 Component, Control Parameter for Parameters that can be selected as Source and Target Type.
8. Click Add at the top to complete the setup.
9. Click Save at the bottom to save the configured settings.
